IRC page

IRC, otherwise known as Internet Relay Chat,
is a wonderful way to make friends and keep in touch with friends across
the country, or around the world.
It is "real-time" chat, meaning you chat like on the phone
only by typing. Once you type something and press the enter key, the message goes through
many relays to the person or people you are chatting with
and appears on their screen.

I use a program called mIRC. Its a terrific little program which is also FREE!!!
There are many other programs out there for chatting, but I have found this to be the best. With this program you can chat as well as make it fun,
by using colored text, "popups"
(premade colored texts that you send with the press of a button)
You can play sounds to the others you are chatting with.
You will be able to learn to make popups, and make your own sounds too!
